Samuel Shen is taking bold steps to raise the bar height for violin family instruments in North America. From our upstate New York facility we can take advantage of a range of opportunities to improve quality and service to the US and Canadian markets.

Shen America will begin as a final assembly location, but will continually expand with greater and greater proportions of the instrument being built state-side from North American materials. Our goal is that within a decade a Shen bought in North America will be a US-made instrument.

Here are the key goals of the initial launch:

Final Assembly

We will be staging our instruments in a climate-controlled facility near Rochester, NY for a number of months to allow the wood to adjust to a seasonal US climate before final assembly.

Improved Responsiveness

Working in close proximity to our North American distributor CSC Products Inc. will help us deliver more of what our dealers need, when they need it.

Extensive Services

Our expert staff will be able to provide dealers more options for replacement parts, repairs, warranty services, wood supplies and upgrades with genuine Shen parts.
